Fort Worth, Texas – SourceCorp Professional Services, the nation’s leading specialized tax consulting company, today announced that Jana Carpenter has been hired as Vice President of Business Development to lead the company’s national sales team. Jana brings extensive experience to the company and will assist SourceCorp clients by building a best-in-class national sales network and by serving on the SourceCorp Core Leadership Team. She will be based in the company’s Fort Worth, Texas office.

As a 25-year seasoned sales and marketing professional, Jana maintains a unique blending of process, systems, disciplines and focus to champion client service and marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining SourceCorp, she led the formation and creation of the first national sales team for UHY Advisors, the country's 12th largest accounting firm. In 2007, through process improvement, coaching and infrastructure development, Jana provided direction and oversight of 25 senior sales professionals consulted with 144 Managing Directors, oversaw conversion to a national CRM platform and collaborated in the creation of innovative and timely programs to build the brand and drive revenue.

Her past experience includes serving as VP Sales & Marketing for FTI Consulting where she launched a professional sales team selling litigation services, including eDiscovery, expert testimony and trial support. At Arthur Andersen she served as a Sales Coach for the Audit/Tax partners, participating in large client pursuits, partner classroom sales training and individual coaching. She was promoted to director of sales for Andersen’s Center for Professional Education, turning an internal resource into a revenue-producing asset. Jana also served as Sr. VP & GM for Sales and Marketing at Oak Brook Bank Group where she launched and grew one of the most profitable credit card portfolios in the U.S.

Jana received her Bachelor degree in Education from Indiana University and is the author of “Sales Management; if there is no wind…row” in the Wiley publication: The Professional Service’s Bible.
