Entry Level Cost Segregation Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:
Candidates will be responsible for performing quantity take-offs and making site visits of commercial buildings.  Cost Segregation is the process of front-end loading depreciation expenses for commercial real estate assets to increase cash flow. 

EXPERIENCE:
Candidates will have a minimum of an associate’s degree in construction/engineering technology or 5 years’ related experience.

R&D Tax Credit Staff Consultant

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Research and Development division of SOURCECORP Professional Services is seeking highly motivated individuals who are comfortable reviewing and understanding R&D activity in a wide variety of industries.  This understanding is needed to help SOURCECORP’s clients qualify and quantify R&D activities for federal and state R&D tax credits.  SOURCECORP’s R&D Tax Credit team uses specialized national staff to conduct Research and Development Tax Credit Studies.  By properly identifying qualified research activities and associated costs, we help our clients maximize their investments in innovation and realize substantial tax savings.  Staff Consultants are primarily responsible for conducting fieldwork related to qualifying and supporting clients and prospects for Federal and State R&D credits.  Fieldwork typically involves visiting the client location, touring client facilities, interviewing people involved in R&D, and gaining sufficient knowledge to qualify the R&D activity. The consultants, under the direction of the project manager, will investigate relevant facts, prepare cost summary schedules, complete appropriate tax computations, compose written reports, summarize the findings, and participate in the preparation of the final client deliverable.

Staff Accountant

The Accounting division of SourceCorp Professional Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to:

  • Provide accounting support and technical assistance to various internal departments
  • Analyzing client data
  • Processing and reviewing product calculations, and assisting with special projects
  • Responsible for reviewing client billing and preparing government forms

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-Related discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior analytical skills and strong attention to detail
